We're all right where we should be
Lift my arms out wide I open my eyes
And now all I wanna see
Is a sky full of lighters
A sky full of lighters
Lift my arms out wide I open my eyes
And now all I wanna see
Is a sky full of lighters
A sky full of lighters

My Goals for the Last Quarter of 2011:
September: Graduate Grade 12.
October: Jeng-jeng-jeng to blue belt.
November: Take SATs, score above 1800.
Study hard, party harder.
December: GET THAT BROWN BELT, OMG.
September: Graduate Grade 12.
Dear God, thank you for providing me with an excellent network of supportive and encouraging family, friends, and the most endearing Math tutor ever for the past year. I think it even makes up for the person/s that has been trying to stand in my way.
Please help me to be commited to accomplish this goal by the end of this month, latest. Karlyn says she'll treat me to a meal at Deli Cious if I do, and I really do love their lasagna and brownies. I pray to be less distracted and to be more disciplined. Amen! :)

So maybe being MIA from the dojo since May wasn't the best of ideas. At first I had good reasons like, I'm in Cambodia for missions trip, I'm in Philippines to visit relatives, the sensei I usually train under just injured her shoulder, etc. And then, it all just snowballed into one big, fat excuse: I'm too busy. I need rebuild my stamina from scratch now, sigh.
The Plan: Go to the dojo three times a week and attend two classes each time.

My study plan has already been prepared for me. I will look further into it after I have finally crossed my Grade 12's finish line with tears on my face and sweat in my armpits, etc.- which will hopefully come to pass within the next 24 days, eep. One thing at a time, please.
December: GET THAT BROWN BELT, OMG.
I'm saying this in caps lock because it seems like an impossible task and the idea- AHHH!!!- already stresses me out. This one is actually a challenge my father gave me on the way back home from church last Sunday. After a lot of "???" and "!!!", I accepted it. I'm crazy.
The average aikidoka takes- what?- at least half a year to train themselves for this groundbreaking exam. I, on the other hand, have only been given two months. I don't know who I'm kidding. But for now, it's on. My plan? NEVER EVER MISS A KENSHU CLASS.

I am counting on the truth that I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength. I think I might have overwhelmed myself a little bit, writing this post. (I whimper every time I re-read the December one. If I had a tail, it would be between my legs. I am that uneasy.) I'm going to pray to my Father in Heaven now, and ask for His blessing.
Till my next update, take care! ;)
